Depending on the work required, we use our stern docks to lift either the bow or stern out of the water. The docking process itself rarely takes more than half an hour and is often even faster. This gives us easy access to propellers and leaks, allowing us to change propellers and carry out any other necessary work.

Whether tanker, motor cargo vessel or push boat: we can dock vessels up to 135 m long and 16.50 m wide without difficulty.

Our ADA has been our powerful workboat since the 1970s and, following a complete overhaul in 2019, is in better shape than ever. We use it to move vessels and provide boat assistance.

This is where we manufacture our HA-DU Power Anchors and HA-DU Special Anchors. The anchors are made to order from flame-cut components produced in our own workshop and welded together by hand. Individual DNV approval is also available on request.

We operate a total of six lathes for manufacturing and reconditioning shafts. In 2009, we commissioned our newest lathe, which enables us to manufacture and machine shafts up to 10 m in length.

This investment in particular has made us a sought-after partner for other shipyards, and we are proud to say that it paid for itself within a very short time.

Our highly trained machinists also manufacture bearing bushes, rudder stocks and stern tubes.

In our metalworking shop, we manufacture, among other things, the rudder blades for our HA-DU Hightech Rudders. Naturally, we can also repair your rudders regardless of manufacturer – even so-called Becker rudders are made fully operational again.

Traditional metalworking tasks, such as repairing pipework, are also carried out or prepared here for completion on board.
