For repairs of all kinds, HEINRICH HARBISCH has two stern docks at its disposal:

• Dock¹, 30 m long, with an external / internal width of 20 m / 16.5 m
• Dock², 26 m long, with an external / internal width of 14 m / 11.5 m

These allow us to lift either the bow or stern out of the water, for example to change propellers, repair shafts and rudders or carry out welding work.

Both docks were designed, developed and completed by us, although we too rely on dependable partners: engineers were involved in planning both docks. Construction of

• Dock¹ initially took place at NRSW Neue Ruhrorter Schiffswerft GmbH in Duisburg and was completed at our own premises; commissioned in November 2011
• Dock² was built by our own employees on rented open ground near our shipyard, alongside normal shipyard operations; commissioned in November 1991.

Whether welding work on deck, installing nozzles, replacing or repairing shaft seals, repairing rudders (including Becker rudders and those from other manufacturers) or shafts, locating and sealing leaks, or carrying out fast propeller changes: these are just some of the jobs we perform every day. Our experienced team provides professional and reliable assistance.

Fast propeller changes are one of our specialities. Not least because promarin (formerly Lips, Wärtsilä and Koedood) is located less than 200 m away, we can usually provide fast and straightforward assistance with propeller repairs. If you prefer another propeller repair workshop or manufacturer, that is of course no problem: the choice of workshop is entirely yours. We can also organise transport to and from the Netherlands and elsewhere.

Please note: a straightforward propeller change using a spare propeller takes little more than half a day.
